Objective of the project:

The objective of the project is: to improve efficiency of the court systems, including the development of systems for case handling

Expected outcomes of the project:

  • Improved efficiency and unification of IT environment in courts
  • Improved efficiency of IT systems for running court cases
  • Increased competence of employees of the judiciary

Justification for the project:

The NFM contribution will enable to purchase very efficient and reliable ICT infrastructure, both on the central level of the MoJ and on the level of appellate and regional courts.

Efficient ICT infrastructure system for ID management implemented through purchased from the NFM, will be an essential element of modern IT tools, implemented in the Ministry of Justice and  designed to improve functioning of the judiciary (including the implemented IT system for substantive processes support).

The users will benefit from the speed of data processing and lack of necessity to store and distribute large amounts of documents in a paper form. The citizens forming an indirect target group will benefit from facilitated access to justice and quicker transmission of information between the parties. This will enable the citizens to save their time and will improve the public perception of the functioning of the justice sector

The identity management system is an essential element of modern IT tools implemented in the department of justice and aiming to improve functioning of the judiciary (including the implemented IT system for substantive processes support)

Main activities of the project

  • purchase of equipment for creating a centralized identity management system based on Active Directory (AD) for courts;
  • create a homogenous environment for authentication of users on the basis of AD;
  • installation in every court with a dedicated server for replication of the central users database, managed centrally via the WAN network.

Main target group:

The target group of the proposed actions are the common courts. The users will benefit from the speed of data processing and lack of necessity to store and distribute large amounts of documents in a paper form. The citizens forming an indirect target group will benefit from facilitated access to justice and quicker transmission of information between the parties.
