The pre-defined project “School education against legal exlusion” is expected to have a positive impact on several aspects of the policy of equal opportunities and non-discrimination.
In public procurement proceedings the Project Promoter included the so called social clauses, which oblige the Contractor to hire unemployed persons. The legal basis is constituted by Article no. 26 of the Directive 2004/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 March 2004 on the coordination of procedures for the award of public works contracts, public supply contracts and public service contracts.
The first unemployed person has already found a new job thanks to the implementation of this project.
