Notification on selection of the most favourable offer

On 10 December of the current year, the official website of the Ministry of Justice published in the Public Procurements 2014 tab the notification on selection of the most favourable offer in the public procurement for development of methodology and carrying-out of the ‘Diagnosis of the mediation application status and the reasons behind insufficient popularity of mediation comparing to the expectations’ study.

Selection of the most favourable offer, followed by signing the contract with the selected Contractor on the delivery of the subject-matter of the public procurement (development of methodology and study performance) will enable launching of the subsequent project activities, including: trainings on mediation (dedicated to judges, prosecutors and mediators) and social information campaign on mediation.

The study outcome (completion of which is assumed for 2H 2015) will be quantitative and qualitative diagnosis of mediation application status and knowledge on the reasons behind insufficient popularity of this method of dispute resolving. Based on the study results, the recommendations for activities (and target group) to be implemented to increase application of mediation as the alternative to the conventional court proceeding in resolving disputes and conflicts are to be proposed.
