On 4 March another two applications for project co-financing were positively appraised by the Members of the Predefined Project Appraisal Team.
The project “Promoting alternative methods of dispute resolution” was approved during the second round of appraisal and the project “Strengthening the position of crime victims and support for witnesses in criminal proceedings” was accepted during the first round of appraisal on the condition that some minor modifications are introduced in the application for co-financing. Results of the appraisal now wait for the approval of the Minister of Justice and decision on co-financing that would enable the Project Promoters to launch project activities.
The Project Promoter for two above mentioned initiatives is the Department of International Cooperation and Human Rights of the Ministry of Justice. Both projects will be implemented in partnership with the Norwegian National Courts Administration.
